Who is Austin, TX?™ is a short-form video interview project looking to showcase the inhabitants of the greater Austin area. This city is unique within the United States, and is also one of the most searched, and we desire for people seeking information about our beloved town to know what it's like to live here. We do this through the mosaic of Austinites by recording their answers to 10 specific questions ranging from the amount of time they’ve lived in Austin, to what they want their legacy to be. Once edited to a 3 minute video, we'll begin posting to social media, our website, and elsewhere on the internet in the hopes that people will discover just how much we have in common with other members of the Austin community. While we do not ask for subjects to pay anything, we do have a Patreon setup if you feel inclined to contribute. While we're focused on the individual stories, subjects are certainly allowed to plug local businesses or groups they wish to garner attention for. We don't want to film advertisements, but we know that small businesses and large industries thrive in Austin and we intend to help support their growth as much as possible.
